Former Kansas City Chief and Fox broadcaster Bill Maas was released from jail earlier today after he was arrested on Friday for drug possession and weapons charges during a roadside check in Illinois.
After Maas and his passenger, Sarah Murphy, were stopped Friday night, Maas appeared visibly nervous, so the police asked to search his vehicle. Jackpot!! They found a .22 caliber revolver, 5 grams of pot, 6 grams of coke, and 28 pills of Ecstasy. Geez, just what in the heck were these two planning on doing that night? Heh heh.
Maas played for the Kansas City Chiefs in 1984. He played for them until 1992, then played for Green Bay after that. He started working for Fox Sports in 1996 as a reporter and anchor.

I wonder what the heck he was thinking when he was carrying all of this. Why do people who are athletes or celebrities think they can carry weapons and drugs? Do they think that if they get pulled over the cops will over look what they have because of who they are? I thought more of Maas until now. Guess I will have a different opinion now.
