Fans of “The Office” are going to be thrilled to learn that Catherine Tate is returning! This is fabulous news!

Catherine Tate

The character of Nellie Bertram, played by the hysterical Catherine Tate was introduced in last season’s finale as one of the candidates interviewing for Michael Scott’s position, which she clearly didn’t get. The powers that be at the sitcom were so impressed with Tate that they knew they had to bring her back, thus the character of Nellie got a new job within Dunder Mifflin as a “corporate special projects manager. I am not entirely sure what that means but I do know it will be comical. Nellie is hired by Jo Bennett who I am sure you all know is the Chairman of the Board. Oh and I hear that Catherine’s character and James Spader’s Robert California will have a relationship that is far from professional, I can’t wait to see that.

Adding Catherine to the cast of the hit NBC show is freaking awesome if you ask me. Yes the show is good but she will bring a certain level of comedy that will only make it better. I have been a fan of hers since I first saw her on “The Catherine Tate Show” on BBC, which really showed off her talent for character transformation. Other credits of the actress include “Doctor Who”, “Gulliver’s Travels,” “Monte Carlo,” and “66”. She has also done her share of theater at West End.

I will admit I was unsure how the show would do without Steve Carrell but I have been pretty impressed with the new season. And now with the news that Catherine is returning to the show I am even happier.

Well my friends there you have it my thoughts on the latest casting news on The Office and now I would like to hear yours, so let me have it.
