Shannon Doherty marries Kurt Iswarienko! The former Beverly Hills, 90210 star and her celebrity photographer boyfriend wed in Malibu last night, exchanging vows in a sunset ceremony in front of 120 of their closest friends and family.
Shannen and Kurt started dating in 2009, and their life is the focus of her new reality series on WEtv, chronicling wedding preparations and the like, with the nuptials serving as the season finale. The show will reportedly premiere in January of 2012. This show has piqued my curiosity, so sigh…adding yet another one to my DVR.
Guests were asked to wear black to the wedding, and the bridesmaids and flower girls did the same. Seems kind of dreary to have your wedding party in all black, doesn’t it? I’m sure it looked much better in person than what I’m envisioning. Pics that I’ve seen over at Daily Mail are grainy at best, no doubt taken from a helicopter. Doherty wore an ivory strapless gown complete with black sash.

There are some gorgeous shots of Mila Kunis, Josh Brolin, Benicio del Toro, Julianne Moore, Anne Hathaway and of course, Shannen. To say this man is talented is an understatement.
This is the third marriage for Doherty, who previously married Ashely Hamilton (son of George Hamilton) in 1993 and later divorced him in April of 1994, and wed Rick Salomon, in 2003, but theirs was short lived as well, with their marriage annulled the same year. Salomon was formerly linked to Paris Hilton..cough cough..naughty tape…cough cough, and Pamela Anderson.
Last year she told PEOPLE:
“Marriage to me is such a gigantic commitment that it’s not something I’d ever go into lightly anymore. I’ve learned my lesson.”
Hopefully third time is the charm for Doherty, and I wish only the best for her and Iswarienko. Congratulations to you both!
