Stacy Keibler & George Clooney Officially A Couple?

Just over a month out of his relationship with Italian hottie Elisabetta Canalis, it appears that perpetual bachelor George Clooney has himself a new leading lady: former wrestler Stacy Keibler!

The duo have been pretty mum on their relationship since rumors of their romance began flying soon after Clooney’s most recent split, but they have recently been stepping out together and it seems like the cat is out of the bag! George Clooney has a new girlfriend and it certainly appears to be Stacy Keibler!

But exactly what does that “mean”? Clooney has made it pretty clear in the past that he’s not interested in getting married, dating clingy women, or really committing to anything at all, so I don’t really know how solid the title of “girlfriend” is in a relationship like this, but for the time being the new couple seem to be pretty happy.

They have stepped out together at the Toronto Film Festival and at a Grey Goose party at SOHO House. While they are clearly very into each other, onlookers reported that while they were affectionate with each other, the two did not spend a lot of time together. They would make a quick rendezvous, share a tender moment, and they two would separate. This seems to correlate with many of the other past loves of George Clooney, which suggests he does not like to date women who depend on him or require any kind of commitment from him. Stacy Keibler is taking his track history well into account and proving to her new beau that she is an independent woman.

It take a very special kind of woman to want to deal with a non-relationship like that, but I suppose it does afford her the “perks” of a relationship with the independence of being single. Good luck to you, George and Stacy!
