Congratulations are in order for Guy Ritchie and his girlfriend Jacqui Ainsley. Jacqui gave birth to a baby boy today at Portland Hospital in London. And what’s the lad’s name, you ask?
Unfortunately, no particulars were given surrounding the bundle of joy other than the fact that he came into the world via emergency C-section at 11:00 AM London time, but mother and baby are said to be doing just fine.
This is the first child for Ainsley and the third for Ritchie. He has two children with his ex-wife, Madonna – Rocco, who just turned 11 last month and David, 6, the child they adopted from Malawi. While Ritchie and Madonna’s marriage ended in a bitter divorce in 2008, they do share children together and have since remained good friends. Well thank goodness. There’s nothing I hate more than when a marriage falls apart, they divorce and it’s anything but friendly terms on the part of the parents. Makes for a tough situation for the kids. Anyhoo, Ritchie called his ex to let her know the good news, a little brother for Rocco and David. She reportedly sent her well wishes via a bouquet of flowers to the new parents.
According to a person who is in the know, the source told the Daily Mirror:
“The baby came a few days earlier than planned but the actual birth went well and both mum and tot are doing great. Madonna sent her congratulations. Rocco, Lourdes, and adopted youngsters, David and Mercy are all being introduced to the new arrival within the next couple of weeks. Both Guy and Madonna are determined to be grown-up about it and remain on friendly terms.”
Jacqui, a model who has appeared in ad campaigns for Samsung and Sunsilk, just to name a few, started dating the Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels director last year. In March, it was announced that Jacqui was pregnant. The two are said to be very happy. Hmm, might we hear wedding bells in the near future? Maybe. Maybe not. Anyways, our sincere congratulations to Guy & Jacqui! Can’t wait to see those baby pictures!
