Carrie-Anne Moss To Guest On ‘Chuck’

Carrie-Anne Moss has joined the ranks of ‘Chuck’. Get the news on The Matrix star’s guest arc in the series that is set to kick off the coming fall in its last season.

Creator Josh Schwartz’s ‘Chuck’ will be returning this October, closing out its final season. Moved to a new Friday night time slot, the super spy drama is rolling out one jam packed farewell with the latest addition being Matrix actress Carrie-Anne Moss.

Moss is scheduled to play Gertrude Verbanski, a former spy and new rival of Chuck’s who runs Verbanski Corporation. Slated for a thirteenth episode season, Moss will stick around for a multi-episode arc, and is said to have a soft side for John Casey.

With Chuck now running his own spy company, involved heavily, with his love interest Sarah Walker, looking for his mother, and Carrie-Anne’s storyline should make for a great addition, heating things up quite nicely. Chuck’s last season will also feature the likes of Mark Hamill, aka Luke Skywalker, also on board as a villain, as well as Craig Kilborn (The Kilborn File), with a load of other new enemies set to get in Zachary Levi’s way.Chuck premieres this fall in October 21st in a new weekly time spot, Fridays at 8pm est.

Meanwhile, the forty-three year old Moss has a few other performance set to debut shortly. She is also part of the upcoming TV movie ‘Normal’ in the character role of Ann Brown, and will be voicing the character Aria T’Loak in the video game Mass Effect 3.

Aside from this she is also attached to star in a few upcoming movies such as The Clockwork Girl, Silent Hill: Revelation 3D as the on screen character Claudia Wolf, and Knife Fight, where she will play Penelope. Check out Moss in action in a Matrix clip below.
