Glee’s Ryan Murphy Set To Debut ‘American Horror Story’

The FX Network has picked up Glee creator Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuck’s new series “American Horror Story’. Scoring a thirteen episode order, the new show features actor Dylan McDermott of ‘The Practice’, everybody’s favorite ‘Friday Night Lights’ star Connie Britton and Jessica Lange.

Murphy and Falchuk’s new creation chronicles one family’s attempts to shake off the past after a miscarriage and an affair. Moving across the country, the characters of American Horror start from scratch only to discover their new home is haunted. Talking about his new show, Murphy shared his excitement

“Brad and I are excited to be back at FX where we enjoyed such a terrific relationship working with John Landgraf and his team through 100 episodes of Nip/Tuck. Our cast is extraordinary and we can’t wait to get started on production.”

FX was also happy to welcome both producers Murphy and Falchuck back to the successful network, announced President Landgraf.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Ryan and Brad back to their original home. They have shown an uncanny ability to bring original series unlike any that have come before and to reconcile ‘wildly entertaining’ with the ‘creatively ambitious’.

Aside from Britton, McDermott and Lange, the series has also added a cast line up of Denis O’Hare, Alexandra Breckenridge, Bodhi Schulz, Evan Peters, and actress Shelby Young, among several others.

The hour long drama ‘American Horror Story’ is set to make its debut this coming October. Are you in Glee fans?
