Shia LaBeouf Joins ‘The Company You Keep’ & More Casting News

Shia LaBeouf has found his next film role now that he’s officially finished with Transformers. LaBeouf will join Robert Redford in the political picture ‘The Company You Keep’. Get the details below on the actor’s role and read on for more casting news from around the web.

While some individuals throughout Hollywood are questioning how Shia LaBeouf has managed to continually land serious major roles, after recent lackluster performances, the star of Transformers has just scored another role in a soon to be block buster hit, and alongside seasoned actor Robert Redford to boot!

LaBeouf has reportedly signed on to star in The Company You Keep, a movie that will feature the Indian Jones actor as a reporter hot on the trail of “a former Weather Underground militant wanted by the FBI for 30 years.” Redford, aside from directing the film will play the wanted man who “must go on the run when his true identity is exposed” by LaBeouf’s persistent alter ego, who is determined to get his story.

Filming is said to kick of this September. In other casting news, actor Kevin Costner has joined Quentin Tarantino’s upcoming movie Djano Unchained. Costner is set to play a henchman by the name of Ace Woody’s who is the right hand to slave owner Calvin Candie played by Leonardo DiCaprio. The plot follows a “slave-turned-bounty hunter” who “sets out to rescue his wife from the brutal Calvin Candie, a Mississippi plantation owner.” Costner joins the already cast line up of actors Christoph Waltz, Samuel Jackson, and Jaime Foxx in the lead role.

Game of Thrones actor Sean Bean is said to be in the middle of negotiations with movie heads to play Snow White’s father in the film adaption being helmed by Tarsem Singh. The Brothers Grimm version (not to be confused with The Huntsman featuring Kristen Stewart) includes a cast line up of Julia Roberts, actress Lily Collins in the title role, and Armie Hammer. The film is already shooting in Vancouver.

Lastly, The Lone Ranger, that has already cast Armie Hammer and Johnny Depp, could now be adding Helena Bonham Carter. Actor Barry Pepper and country singer Dwight Yoakam is also said to be in talks. Confirmation should be on the way.
