Beyoncé has just landed her first leading role in Clint Eastwood’s much talked about movie ‘A Star Is Born’. The songstress announced the big news on ABC’s Good Morning America, calling her new project an “incredible honor.” The movie is due out next year. Eastwood is said to have also signed Leonardo DiCaprio for the male lead of the film! What do you think? Will the two make great on screen chemistry together?

In other casting news Adam Sandler has joined Sony’s 3D project ‘Dracula’. Sandler is set to voice the leading character in the picture due out sometime next year.

Meanwhile, The Office has signed James Spader as a series regular on the show. Spader will take over as CEO of Sabre, replacing actress Kathy Bates. And let’s just say the pay isn’t bad! For a fifteen episode commitment the Boston Legal alumni will take home between $150k-$200k an episode. Not a bad deal. Its still not the same without Steve Carrell but show runners are piecing together a hit series once again.

What To Expect When Your Expecting is seriously beefing up its cast! Actor Rodrigo Santoro has now been added as Jennifer Lopez’s on screen husband. The movie already brags a line up of bad Teacher’s Cameron Diaz, Brooklyn Decker, Twilight’s Anna Kendrick, with a rumored Matthew Morrison (my favorite Glee teacher) and Chris Rock on board. The movie is being directed by Kirk Jones and is said to begin filming this summer.

And last in our casting news! Seasoned performer Val Kilmer, actor Ving Rhames, Luke Goss and Rebecca De Costa have all been announced to headline the spooky thriller ‘Seven Below’. The film will be helmed by Kevin Carraway, with a script from Lawrence Smith. The story follows “a group of strangers trapped in a time warp house where a terrible event transpired exactly 100 years prior.”

Stick around and watch video of Beyonce below and tell us what you think of her new movie role?
