More baby news! Denise Richards has adopted a baby girl. Awww, she is such a sweet Mama, I love her! Remember when she offered to care for Charlie Sheen and Brooke Mueller’s twins until they got their chaotic life and situation in somewhat of an order? To me, that just proved how dedicated she is as a mother. What a lucky little baby! Get more deets behind the adoption here.
It’s now a party of 4 for the Richards family! Sam, who is 7, and Lola, who is 6, are Richards’ daughters with her ex-husband, Charlie Sheen. Have you seen pictures of these two little ones? Oh my goodness, cuteness overload! It’s been reported that the new bundle of joy in the Richards’ household is a newborn. Richards’ rep told PEOPLE:
“Eloise Joni Richards is named after Denise’s mom (Joni), and Denise and her daughters Sami and Lola chose the name Eloise. Denise and Eloise’s big sisters couldn’t be happier and feel incredibly blessed.”
Denise’s mother Joni died in late 2007 after succumbing to cancer.
Richards was bombarded with congratulatory messages from her fans on Twitter as soon as the news went public of her adopting a baby girl. She tweeted in response to the good wishes, “Thank you all for your sweet messages. The girls and I are over the moon and so is my dad Grandpa Irv…xo”
Richards has full custody of Sam and Lola (thank goodness, right?) and talks of the ‘beautiful love story’ between she and her ex-husband Sheen in her upcoming memoir, The Real Girl Next Door, which is available on July 26th. In the book she’d rather talk about the good times with Charlie rather than focus on the bad, since everyone pretty much has read or heard the tumultuous time she’s had following their divorce, which was finalized in 2006. I’ll have to add that to my list of books to download. Should be quite the interesting read, eh?
Anyways, enough about that. Congratulations to Denise on becoming a Mom to three! I bet baby Eloise is gorgeous!
