New York Housewives Battle in Morocco

June 10, 2011

If you have been watching the Real Housewives of New York City the past three weeks, you′ll know that the ladies took a vacation trip to Marrakech, Morocco. But there was no vacation for the brewing war between Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin. If anything, it just got a whole lot uglier!

Much of this conflict stems back to the past couple seasons as the friendship between Jill and Bethany Frankel melted down. Then last season, Jill showed up at a getaway in the Caribbean planned by Ramona, where Jill had intended to apologize and make amends. But the claws came out immediately as Ramona, Bethany and Alex McCord demanded that Jill leave immediately. The drama flew high and hard as a weepy Jill sulked off.

The tensions continued as this season began, but Jill, after returning from a trip to Australia with her husband, had hoped to try again to resolve the issues with Ramona. Luan de Lesseps tried to act as a mediator, and then arranged for the trip to Morocco to hopefully calm down all of the housewives conflicts. But almost from the first day, that was obviously not going to happen.

The housewives split into two camps, Team Ramona, consisting of Ramona, Alex and Sonja Morgan and Team Jill with Jill, Luan, Cindy Barshop and Kelly Bensimon. Side battle between Sonja and Cindy and between Alex and Luan, erupted during the vacation. You know things are bad when Kelly is acting like the only adult in the room! I really shouldn’t′t say that. Personally, I like Kelly, she has best ′tag-line′ during the show′s opening credits, “I’m living the American Dream, one mistake at a time.”

So where will the battle between Ramona Singer and Jill Zarin go next on the Real Housewives of New York City? Who can say? One thing is for certain, the pinot grigio will be flowing!

I appreciate the way the one lady wouldnt get on the camel. i mean she stepped up and said ‘i dont want to ride it’… so why did everyone gave her weird vibs? made no sense. its her choice to ride or not to ride. your friends should just acept and not OVERLY question. then.. lol, the camel bucked, not once, not twice, but several times.. bucked the all controlling luann. bottom line, we have reservations that warn us to go forward or back off. their there for a reason.
