In a disturbing version of my favorite game called “which celebrity kid is the most messed up,” we are learning that Nic Cage’s son, Weston, earned a royal beat down followed by a mental health evaluation all within a matter of hours.
This is unbelievable and disturbing—
TMZ posted a video of a violent kerfuffle on the streets of Hollywood involving Weston and his personal trainer. At first glance, the video gives the impression that a much more capable bully is simply pummeling a helpless man. It can actually be infuriating.
But the real story goes something like this:
Following a brief argument, Weston allegedly began to push his personal trainer, and even attempted a “round house” kick.” At that point, the trainer knocks him on onto the pavement and unleashes at least a dozen right hand blows to the head.
It’s pretty brutal to watch, especially considering how long it goes on.
Eventually police arrive and nearly have to taser the celeb kid to calm him down. He obviously needed medical attention, but they even felt compelled to handcuff him before placing him in an ambulance.
From there he was set to undergo a mental health evaluation to make sure he is not a danger to himself or others. Some sites are reporting that he had a huge argument with his wife earlier in the day and was “freaking out” ever since.
Meanwhile daddy Nic managed to arrive on the scene before he was even transported, and worked his way into the back of the ambulance for the ride. He will apparently spend the week by his side.
This story is too muddied up to really comment on, but I will say that it seemed like his trainer landed one too many blows, eh?
