Over the last few years, celebrity cheaters have popped up all over the media. Yet we still eat it up when we hear who is the latest victim of a broken heart. Yes, I know it’s hard to believe that celebrities are human just like us, but it’s wrong nonetheless. We ask ourselves: how could he or she do such a thing? Then we find ourselves closer to that celebrity more than ever and for all the pain they are going through – our hearts go out to them. I find it hard to believe that they thought they could keep a secret for so long. I mean they are famous — many are even household names — but I think they think of themselves as just another person, and they don’t really think twice about it. If the marriage or the relationship was going downhill, why cheat? Go through some kind of counseling or just end it. Yes, someone will be hurt that’s for sure, but nothing could be as hurtful in a relationship as cheating on your significant other. It may take that person years before they can recover and start dating again. It just proves that no matter how perfect it is from the outside most couples have their issues on the inside.
Now here recently, the latest scandal has involved Arnold Schwarzenegger and his wife Maria Shriver. To tell you the truth, the scandal happened back when he ran for governor. He was (allegedly) touchy feely with other women back in the day when he was really a body builder. I know I have heard “stand by your man”, but my god I hope Maria gave an interrogation. I know I never saw it coming. How could you cheat on someone who was so close to you and your family. They see you everyday. Let’s not forget that a child has now been involved now. I have never cheated, but you think he would be just a little bit more sneaky about it. That or the old saying stays true: “keep your wife close and your mistress closer”. I feel sorry for Maria. She seems like a great lady who doesn’t deserve this (nor does anyone else for that matter). I know one thing: Maria, don’t get even get everything!
