Donald Trump has been making headlines for his political goals and his insistence on getting proof of the President’s identity. Now that people are commenting back, he doesn’t seem so happy! Based on his reactions, it seems like he can dish it out, but can’t take it!
Let’s take a look at some of the most recent comments we have heard from people about the “Apprentice” host and then see how he reacted.
Comment: First, there was Obama’s speech at the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. I thought the President did a great job of facing the issue rather than hiding from it. He calls him “The Donald” and says that now that the birth certificate issue is settled, he can focus on other frivolous claims! Check it out!
Reaction: Donald Trump thought the night “seemed inappropriate” and tried to focus on America’s problems. He talked to “Fox & Friends” the next day and was wondering why it was all about him. He said, “It was almost like, is there anyone else they could talk about?”
Comment: The same night, Seth Meyers also got up and made some harder hitting jokes. He was basically saying that he thought him running for President is a joke and equated his hair with a fox. It is almost tough to watch how stoic the business man is the whole time!
Reaction: During the dinner, you could see the Trump’s face. He doesn’t seem to think it’s funny and doesn’t crack a smile. On the Fox show he said Meyers’ delivery wasn’t good and also called him a “stutterer.”
Comment: Lastly, someone else who has irritated the powerful man was late night talk show host David Letterman. He had Dr. Phil, who is a friend of Donald’s, on his show and they were discussing his latest tactics. At one point David says that he thought when it was asked how did Obama get into Harvard that it was racist. See what I mean in this video.
Reaction: This interview really upset him and he has now refused to come on the show. He was supposed to appear on May 18th but sent a letter to the host and said he was “disappointed” and that no one is less of a racist than himself. “Based upon your statements, and despite the fact that we have always done so well together, especially in your ratings, I am canceling my May 18th appearance on your show. Additionally, please inform your staff that I will likewise not do the ‘top ten’ list that they had been trying to set up.”
Well there you have it. What do you think about all this drama? Are Donald Trump’s reactions justified or does he need to learn to take a joke? I personally think that he deserves to be the butt of a few jokes and/or criticisms and should be able to take it better than he has. I mean what did he expect?! Check out his “Fox & Friends” interview and leave me your comments about all of this in the section below.
