Ladies it is official, hunky Lorenzo Lamas it off the market. The actor married girlfriend Shawna Craig over the weekend.
53-year old Lamas made an honest woman out of his 24-year old girlfriend Shawna at the Casa Dorada Resort in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico last Saturday. The couple got engaged last February after only a mere three months of dating. Yep the now husband and wife have barely known each other six months, no judgment here I am just simply pointing out a fact. This was the fifth trip down the aisle for the actor who gained fame on the 80’s primetime drama Falcon Crest, oh how I loved him on that show.
Craig is a model with no kids and this is the first marriage for her. It is hard not to notice the crazy age difference between Lorenzo and Shawna but if they are happy that is all that matters right? Even Lorenzo’s daughter Shayne, who is only one year older than her now step-mom, approves of the marriage and was in attendance at the very intimate wedding ceremony.
So just so I am clear on the details, Shawna now has herself six step-kids and one step-grandkid on the way and she is only 24-years old. I don’t want to sound cynical or anything because we all know age doesn’t really matter but that is a lot for someone of her age to take on. I am not saying it won’t work out or anything just stating the obvious. I for one hope this time around things work out for Lorenzo. Hey the guy may have been married a lot but he clearly hasn’t given up on the idea of it so you have to give him props. Those are of course just my thoughts so please tell me yours.
