An interesting article in the Daily Mail today regarding why Chelsy Davy won’t marry Prince Harry. Geez. The hoopla surrounding the Royal Wedding hasn’t even completely died down yet and now there’s talk of how there won’t be a Chelsy/Harry nuptials in the future?
So what’s up with the relationship between these two? It seems we define it more as on/off rather than ON, right? They’ve been together five years (again, off and on), so what’s the reasoning behind why Chelsy Davy won’t marry Prince Harry?
According to the Daily Mail, it boils down to her not wanting to live the Royal life. While the two are back ON for now, they both want desperately for it to work this time. Chelsea was by his side at the Royal Wedding festivities, including of course the reception Friday night, and the ‘wedding breakfast and evening dinner’.
A source told DM:
‘Chelsy thought the wedding was wonderful and she had a ball, but there’s no way marriage is on the cards for her. She wants her freedom and to start a career. That’s her focus at the moment, she and Harry are going to see how things go.’
As for her career, she reportedly has taken on the position as a Trainee Solicitor for the law firm of Allen & Overy in London. She will start in September.
So she’ll at least be close to Harry and not have to deal with the long distance aspect of their relationship. Although as the saying goes – absence makes the heart grow fonder, but in their case they’ve already had their fair share of miles between them.
It’s been reported that Chelsy does not want to endure what Kate has experienced throughout the years as she dated Prince William, so it baffles me that she’d want to continue on with Harry. It doesn’t make sense.
So I guess a ‘best of luck to you and Prince Harry on your relationship that will not end up in marriage’ is in order, right? Heh.
