The day before Oscar hopefuls are announced, the Razzie nominations have been released! On the 2011 list, some big names are “contending” for the worst spot in each category. For all the good, bad & ugly details, with photos and videos of course, keep reading below.

Razzie nomination 2011 1

Some of the nominees make sense, but there are also a few surprises for others. Jennifer Aniston and her ‘Bounty Hunter’ costars as well a the ‘Twilight’ bunch are some of the few that have unfortunately been selected for these awards.

In the middle of the awards season each year the Razzie nominations come out as the committee’s way of also pointing out what they think didn’t work. The 2011 list has targeted some films more than other, even if they are surprising.

Leading off things are the movies claimed to be the worst from 2010. I can agree with a lot of this list, but I was surprised to see Twilight as one of the leading films. However, if you think about it, there are a lot of Twi-hard fans, but there are also a lot (maybe more) that are so sick of the saga! So when will we find out who “won?”

The ceremony will take place on February 26th, during Oscar weekend! Now these awards are just a way to be cynical, but for those people who are nominated for these, so close to the announcement of the Oscar nominations has to sting a little!

Who do you think will take home these unwanted honors? And hey, is there anyone that you feel should have gotten a Razzie nomination and been included on the 2011 list? After you check out these pictures and videos of some of the unlucky ones, leave me your comments below.

Why are you surprised? Ecplise was bad, whether we say so or not…we might as well say so. Let’s acknowledge a crappy movie for what it is. Just because it was exciting and entertaining, doesn’t mean it was a good movie.

First of to “Mi” –‘just because it was exciting and entertaining, doesn’t mean it was a good movie’?? Okay –if it was exciting and entertaining –then it has fulfilled its purpose which means that IT IS a good movie.

The nomination for Eclipse does sting. The only reason why they got nominated is probably due to a large population who is tired of the saga. I honestly don’t know why these awards even exist. They serve no purpose other than to mock and offend people who doesn’t deserve it. If you are saying that ‘well they should’ve chosen a better movie to be in…’ Newsflash to you people but for the actors, writers, directors, and other cast members who do make these movies –at least they have a movie and they are making money for something that they like to do.

What is the purpose of having this awards when actors and actress and everyone on the set try hard to make the movie lovable?! I don’t think this award really had any use at all if there’s a poll for choosing ‘do you want this razzies be continued?’ with a happy heart i’ll vote ‘NO’

Eclipse deserved its nominations! The acting and dialog seemed like it came out of a bad daytime soap. One of the only witty lines in the whole movie was when the Edward character makes a funny barb against Jacob. “Does he ever wear a shirt?”

Really surprised at Jennifer Aniston’s nominations. Her films are not pretending to be anything but light hearted and fun!
