i loved gervais- i thought he was very honest which is really really funny for hollywood. it made watching the show more enjoyable rather than being a fawn fest of celebrities.

I thought Ricky Gervais was hilarious, last night. Although I have to say I am dissapointied in the winners last night. Glee won for best comedy series, seriously? It feels like I am one of the few people in the world ho HATES Glee. And while Jim Parsons probably deserved his award for best actor, I really wanted Steve Carell to win since this is his last season.

He was hilarious! Loved it! He made a usually stuffy event more colorful.

That was hilarious! All the politically correct queer boy lovers of Hollyweird would find this “offensive”. But the folks who live east of the San Andreas fault actually have a sense of humor.

BTW, I know a lot of people who hate Glee. God that shows is so freakin’ gay. I don’t know any straight men who actually watch it. Way, way, way too gay for straight men.

Gervais was fantastic! All those boring, overpaid, spoilt, pampered hollywood brats who can’t laugh at themselves and whose sh1t don’t smell. Loved him and the fact that he didn’t pander to them. God, the show would have been dire without him. What is offensive are those damn speeches the winners make. Ugh! Watched the show just for Gervais.

    Shawn Hudson Says:

Gervais was great, but he definitely won’t be coming back. He went on Conan before the show and stated how people accused him last year of pulling his punches. From what I can tell, he made fun of himself a lot last year, which may have made the audience more comfortable with them being ripped. Overall … Gervais approached the hosting duties like a roast, which is fine by me.

    Skip Gregory Says:

Ricky is usually a fairly funny fellow, but this time he used a juvenile, mean-spirited approach and it was disappointing and boring. Sandra Bullock, Robert Downey Jr. and others who are used to being teased mentioned it outright or else showed it in their unamused responses.
If he decides to continue with the insulting, childish shtick, I hope they ask someone else to host.

    Chris Says:

I didn’t find him entertaining at all…nor funny at taking shots at others…if he is asked to MC again..I won’t be watching…

    Humorous!
