Elizabeth Edwards succumbed to breast cancer on December 7th, 2010. Now, her will that she wrote just days before her untimely death has been revealed. Be sure to check out pictures and videos below!

Elizabeth Edwards was such a strong woman in so many ways. I could not imagine enduring all the hardship that she handled despite her ailing illness…breast cancer. However, now, her will has been disclosed…and estranged husband John Edwards, not acknowledged. Surprise? I don’t believe so, not after the biggest scandal in political history!

Edwards left her entire estate with their three children, naming their oldest daughter, Catharine, executor of the will:
“All of my furniture, furnishings, household goods, jewelry, china, silverware and personal effects and any automobiles owned by me at the time of my death I give and bequeath to my children,” the will says.

Thirty-three years of marriage is honorable, that is until one chooses to be unfaithful. After months of speculation of an extramarital affair on John Edwards’ behalf, the truth eventually came out. Not only did John admit to having an affair, but he also fathered a child with Rielle Hunter. Such a heartbreaking story for all parties involved. One thing remains, Elizabeth’s strong belief in family. During the eulogy at her funeral, her daughter Cate assures, “One thing remains true and will never change, which is that we’re still a family.”

Indeed, Elizabeth always possessed unbelievable values, and that is commendable. Not only did Edwards lose her own life to a despicable disease, but she lost a son, 16-year old Wade, to a car accident, and her husband to another woman. Talk about tough! She wrote about love and loss in a couple books she titled, Saving Graces and Resilience, both best-sellers. So inspiring!

May she rest in peace. Give us your thoughts about the details involving Elizabeth Edwards’ will in the comment box. Even though she is gone, here’s to a woman who has an undying love for her children…she will be missed.
