Although rumors of love are circulating around the Internet Selena Gomez still claims that she is just “good friends” with Justin Bieber. Justin Bieber and Selena Gomez were spotted walking arm-in-arm into an IHOP recently, and ever since fans have been debating whether or not the two are romantically involved with each other. The Disney actress claims that they both had some time to kill after a performance in Philadelphia, so they went and got breakfast food together.

“It was pancakes. Who doesn’t like pancakes?”

She told MTV News at the Z100 Jingle Ball 2010 in NYC. She also says that the ‘Never Say Never’ singer is like a younger brother to her, and that she has become very protective of him. As for their relationship Selena describes it as being “good friends”.

Straying away from the romance rumors the ‘A Year Without Rain’ songstress carried on the conversation by saying that she would prefer to see Bieber win ‘Best New Artist’ over Drake. She explained to MTV.com:

“It’s a really hard category so I don’t know who’s going to win, but of course I have to say Bieber.”
