A tearful Oprah Winfrey defends her best friend, Gayle King, and the love of her life, Stedman Graham. Be sure to check out pictures and videos below!
In fact, she is not even close to being labeled “lesbian”. After ongoing speculation of a gay love affair between Gayle King and the Queen of Talk, Oprah comes out of the closet…”I’m not a lesbian!” In an emotional Oprah Barbara Walters interview, the tables are turned as Barbara sits down with her on a ABC special called Oprah: The Next Chapter, set to air on television Thursday.
Simply, this is not the way Oprah lives her life. Let the Queen of Talk do the talking! She says that “the rumor” is quite upsetting to say the least. If it were the way she was living her life, it would be easier to admit, I’m sure, but Oprah comes clean for everyone, including the cameras.
When she spoke of her dear friend Gayle, she choked back some tears with the following message:
“She is the mother I never had. She is the sister everybody would want. She is the friend that everybody deserves. I don’t know a better person. It’s making me cry because I’m thinking about how much I probably have never told her that. Tissue please.”
So what about Stedman? O and Graham are still on without a doubt! She calls Stedman “the love, the lover, the man, the partner, the mate” in her life. It is said they have been together since 1986.
So what’s in store for Winfrey following the end of The Oprah Winfrey Show? Well, she does have plans of a making her move from her native Chicago to live on her 42-acre estate in Santa Barbara, California. Even though her and Stedman are not married, maybe adopting children is in the near future? Guess, we will just have to wait and see!

It is absolutely nobody’s business what CONSENTING ADULTS do in their bedrooms. I could not care less if somebody is hetero-, bi-, homo- or a-sexual. Religions seem to be the problem in this world – the ones that want to suppress sexuality.
