Actor John Light is Neve Campbell’s husband or he was up until a few months ago when the actress filed for divorce. There is more on what went wrong between the two as well as information about John, which of course includes pictures and a video.
Five months ago actress Neve Campbell and husband John Light apparently called it quits. According to TMZ Neve secretly filed for divorce from John late last spring. How she managed to keep it under wraps for so long is a mystery. Campbell cited irreconcilable differences as the reason for ending the three year marriage. The soon to be ex-spouses met back in 2001 on the set of the independent film Investigating Sex.
In terms of a biography this is what we know about the English actor who was born in Birmingham, England and let me say it isn’t much. He has a sister who runs a youth theater back in his hometown so it would appear show business is in the family blood.
Although Light has been working for years as an actor in theater, film and television, he is probably best known for his role as the British pilot Robert Newman in the made for TV movie Dresden. He also costarred in the film The Lion in Winter with A-list stars Patrick Stewart and Glenn Close. Other things you may have seen him in include the Canadian film Partition and the UK TV mini-series Four Seasons, as well as a number of theater productions in the UK.
John Light is Neve Campbell’s husband but not for much longer. The 36 year old seems to have had a successful career outside the United States but is still relatively unknown in Hollywood. That is not to say he isn’t talented because from what I hear he is, it is just an observation on my part. If you have any additional information or just want to give your two cents on the subject please feel free to share.

“The movie costarred A-list stars Patrick Stewart and Glenn Close.”
Uh. No. John starred in “The Lion in Winter” with Stewart and Close. WTF? You couldn’t be bothered to do 15 seconds’ worth of research by looking him up on imdb? Pathetic.

John Light is one of my favorite actors. First saw him in Lion in Winter and then with the RSC in Tempest and Julius Ceasar. Since then I’ve watched almost everything he’s done including Heights, Prophecy, Dracula and Purpose. I look forward to seeing him in more movies but wish I could visit England and see him in plays. Having met the guy at an after party for the RSC I can tell you he is funny, sweet and has a great voice. Handsome too.
