Did she quit or was she let go? Was Lindsay Lohan fired from the Linda Lovelace role like initial reports stated or is her side of the story the truth? What a mess! Keep reading below for the full story, with more great photos and videos.
Regardless of what really happened, it is for sure that the actress in that picture will not be the movie ‘Inferno.’ And even if she was booted off, I think her not doing that role is for the best. But, hey, of course inquisitive minds want to know the truth!
So here is what has been going on. About a week or so ago we heard that the wild child would not be a part of the racy film. Check out a photo at TMZ of what she would have looked like. Right after that it was rumored that the director had Lindsay Lohan fired from the film! They said it was due to the fact that she was not insurable and that she has a frustrating schedule.
Now the celebrity and her team are fighting back saying that she decided not to be Linda Lovelace for the movie. Family friend Ethan Terra stated:
“It’s not fair in any way, shape, or form for those reports to be out there. Lindsay is 100 percent insurable, all she had to do was put up a fee as a bond then she would have been paid upon completion. I could insure her today. She was definitely not fired.”
Both sides seem very adamant about their positions and I actually can’t tell which side I believe. If she did step back, I think it was a good decision on her part. She is trying to clean up her life and I don’t think playing a sketchy role is the best way to do that. I also could totally understand if the producers decided that she was too much of a risk to cast.
Now it looks like ‘Watchman’ actress Malin Akerman may take on the Linda Lovelace part. Lindsay Lohan, fired or not, can now focus on completing her rehab and not on a racy role. Now that you’ve seen both sides arguments, what do you think really went down? Take a look at these pictures and this video, and then leave me your comments on the situation below.
