Mary Ann Mobley, Gary Collins’ wife was born on February 17, 1939 in Brandon, Mississippi. Mobley is a former Miss America winner. After winning the title in 1959, Mary went on to appear on a few television shows including the most notables Fantasy Island and The Love Boat.
It was in 2009 that Mobley was diagnosed and treated for breast cancer.
It is now being reported that Mary Ann may be questioned in her husband’s recent trouble. In case you are in the dark on Collins’ legal drama, Gary (an actor and ex television host), recently left the scene of an accident in Mississippi and now could have an arrest warrant sent out for him.
The good news for Collins, according to his attorney Tom Royals, is that Collins probably will only get charged with a misdemeanor. Really?
We are also hearing that Collins did in fact stop and wait at the scene for some time, however left after the police didn’t show. However, other sources are indicating that Collins may have been intoxicated at the time of the crash and that is why he chose to flee the scene. Collins does have a history of driving under the influence, with three DUI charges on his driving record.
Mobley married Collins back in 1967 and together have one daughter named Mary Clancy Collins.
