Reportedly, Kim Kardashian is working on an album with R&B singer, songwriter and record producer Terius Youngdell Nash aka The-Dream. Read more about Kim K and her rumored upcoming album below.
The-Dream is one of the most talented producers in the music industry. He is the man responsible for the production quality of hit songs like Rihanna’s ‘Umbrella’, Beyonce’s ‘All The Singe Ladies’ (Put a Ring on It), and Justin Bieber’s ‘Baby’. So, as you can imagine, if you want someone to produce a hit song for you, this is the guy to go to.

Can Kim have a successful career as a recording “artist”? To answer this question you must first pose another question, and as sad as it may be, it isn’t can Kim Kardashian sing? Because nowadays a skilled producer can make anybody (and I do mean anybody!) sound good in the studio, which means being a talented singer is no longer important for somebody to become a famous singer. For example: can Britney Spears sing? How about Jessica Simpson? Okay, my point exactly. This means the only question that really needs answering in order to assess if Kim K could have a successful recoding career is one that has already been answered… Is she marketable?
I’m going to hold off on making any snarky remarks until the rumors are confirmed, and I hear some music. Who knows maybe she is the next Whitney Houston as far as vocal ability is concerned. But, much like Stephen Colbert I trust my gut, and my gut is saying, I doubt it!
