Whispers that the āA Few Good Menā stars will team up once again are rife in Hollywood. But, are the rumors of the Tom Cruise, Jack Nicholson āEl Presidenteā reunion true? You canāt handle the truth! Find out why, plus photos and video below!
The supposed reunion movie, an action/comedy directed by āLate Night with Conan O’Brienā writer Dan Goor, would have featured the 73-year-old Jacko as a world-weary ex-president, and the āTop Gunā star as his idealistic secret service guard. Not unfamiliar roles for the two.
Still, according to agents for both Tom Cruise & Jack Nicholson, āEl Presidenteā is not something they are interested in pursuing. Fair enough, the movie would involve some high action scenes that may be a little too much for the aging āBucket Listā star.
While this particular venture may not work out, fans remain hopeful that these two high-caliber actors team up some time soon. Cruise, at 48, has 3 Oscar nominations to his name but has yet to win any. 25 years his senior, Jacko has had 12 nominations and won 3.
Meanwhile, both actors are working hard on separate projects. Mission Impossible IV videos are already rampant despite its 2011 release, so it looks like the colorful 48-year-old is keeping busy. The older of the two is working at a much more leisurely pace in a new romantic comedy āHow Do You Knowā alongside Reese Whitherspoon and Owen Wilson.
Will we ever see these two work together again? For Tom Cruise & Jack Nicholson, āEl Presidenteā is a bust, but we can always hope for something in the future! Until then, let me know what you think of the acting duo. Would you like to see these two team up again? Let me know in the comment section! And check out the pictures and video of their work below!

Has anyone else noticed Tom Cruise hasn’t really aged since his ‘Top Gun’ days? Has Scientology made him immortal?
