Aleksa Palladino: ‘Boardwalk Empire’ Actress

Meet Aleksa Palladino, an American actress who is starring in the HBO series ‘Boardwalk Empire’, which debuts tonight (September 19, 2010). The first episode of this new series hasn’t even aired yet, but that hasn’t stopped some critics from already comparing it to ‘The Sopranos’, but, after all, it does have the same screenwriter and producer, Terence Winter. As a biography, Aleksa Palladino was born on September 21, 1980 in NYC. She has been working as an actress since 1996. At 14-years-old she landed a role in the critically acclaimed ‘Manny & Lo’, in which her character was 16-years-old. Since she appeared in numerous television shows and films. She is also a talented singer, and is in the band Exitmusic along with her husband Devon Church. Her latest project is ‘Boardwalk Empire,’ in which she stars alongside many talented actors including – Steve Buscemi, Kelly Macdonald, Michael Pitt, Michael Shannon, Stephen Graham, Vincent Piazza, Paul Sparks, among others.
