Lesley Panettiere and her husband, Alan, were allegedly involved in an spousal altercation. TMZ reports the two had an argument that turned physical.
“Law enforcement sources tell TMZ Alan and Lesley Panettiere were at a party earlier in the evening. We’re told Alan was upset because Lesley was “hanging” with someone at the shindig and he felt she was “disrespecting” him.
Sources say, according to Lesley’s statement to Sheriffs, the couple went home, began arguing and he struck her in the cheek. We’re told cops took pictures and there are visible marks.”
Alan did not give a statement and there is no word on whether Hayden was there at the time.

All that’s really known about Lesley Panettiere is that she is a former soap star and is Hayden’s “momager.” She has also drawn some comparisons to Dina Lohan. No news on what the relationship is between mom and daughter these days but they have had their differences. One argument was photographed and you can see it here.
As far as the situation between Hayden’s parents, I’m sure more information will emerge. Some information is already coming out. It doesn’t sound good. In fact, Access Hollywood says Alan was arrested on a felony count of domestic violence. They are also saying Lesley was visibly injured. Mr. Panettiere is in custody on $50,000 bail.

At 18, Hayden certainly has a full plate, and you can expect to see more and more of her as she starts promoting her music and television.

Hayden looks cute either way, but I’m liking the long hair better. The “Heroes” star stepped out with her new short look in Los Angeles at a “Band From TV” concert. The group is made up of “Heroes” co-star Greg Grunberg, Hugh Laurie on keyboards and James Denton of “Desperate Housewives” on guitar. You can check out Hayden’s cut here. By the sounds of the comments, some fans are in agreement that long is better.

Heroes beauty Hayden Panettiere is the new face of Candie’s. The brand has chosen Hayden as their “it girlâ€? for the ad campaign. Much like its previous campaigns with stars such as Fergie, Hilary Duff, Destiny’s Child, Ashlee Simpson, Ashanti, Ciara and the Dixie Chicks, Candie’s will incorporate Hayden’s music into the multi-million dollar ad campaign. Hayden’s fist single, Wake Up Call, will be released digitally on August 5th–just in time for back-to-schoolers.
Candie’s new campaign will feature a cable and network TV ad, a print campaign and a music video for Hayden’s single. Dari Marder, Chief Marketing Officer for Iconix Brand Group, which is the parent company of Candie’s, said:
“When we look for our talent, we always look for the ‘it girl’ in pop culture. We really feel our customer connects with music…it’s a great formula.�
No doubt Hayden is the right girl for Candie’s with their fresh and youthful looks. Hayden looks amazing in their fun and colorful ads.
Hayden Panettiere’s debut album is set to be released by Hollywood Records in 2009.

We all know Hayden Panettiere is all about saving the dolphins. Her very dangerous attempt to save dolphins from slaughter last year put her in life threatening danger, but she fought for what she believed in.
Now the Heroes hottie is at it again, in a much safer fashion. Hayden is offering a winning bidder and five guests the chance to join her at a fundraising dinner. They will also go on a whale-watching tour off the coast of California. Hayden says;
“Dolphins and whales are the barometer to the health of our oceans. As go the dolphins and whales, so go the oceans, and then so goes life on earth. “It’s simple, if we save the whales, we can save the world.”
Other auctions include a dress that Hayden wore for her Candies photoshoot, bracelets, shoes & earrings, jacket & poster, and a signed poster.
