The Brangelina of Bollywood, Aishwarya Rai and Abhishek Bachchan held a press conference in Toronto today to announce the “Unforgettable Tour”, which will celebrate the world of Bollywood cinema. The tour will begin in Toronto.

“If all goes well, and God willing, we will premiere the Unforgettable Tour in the city of Toronto because we feel that it is the best city to premiere the tour in.”

Abhishek Bachchan noted that Toronto has a large fan base for Bollywood films. This is the same city that Abhishek and his wife, Aishwarya, premiered their film “Guru” back in January. It was the first time that a Bollywood movie premiered outside of India.

The “Unforgettable Tour” will be traveling to 18 countries around the world including Vancouver, New York, Los Angeles, London, and Hong Kong, just to name a few. The tour will begin next summer. Other Bollywood stars set to perform during the musical extravaganza include Lara Dutta, Bipasha Basu, and Ritesh Deshmukh.

The ever so beautiful Aishwarya Rai Bachchan attended the International Indian Film Academy Awards last night with her husband, Abhishek Bachchan. The awards have been touted as the Bollywood Oscars. The event was held in Sheffield, England, and lasted a whopping six hours. Rang De Basanti (Paint It Yellow) was the big winner for the evening, with 11 wins including Best Picture.

The Bollywood newlywed couple, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan are in Cannes. Aish is there as part of the team of models for cosmetics giant L’Oreal. She and Abhishek were on the red carpet for Wednesday’s opening night screening of “My Blueberry Nights“.



She told the AP Television News:

“This is the first travel where people start calling you, ‘Hello Mrs. Bachchan, good evening. I’ve maybe done a double take at times, but pleasantly so, it makes us smile, so it’s been good,” she said.

Aish is due back in India to continue filming her latest film, a 16th-century romance, “Jodha-Akbar”.

Aishwarya Rai begins her curious wedding ceremony with Abhishek Bachchan today. The traditional marriage in India is called a “Henna” or “mehendi” ceremony, in which Aishwarya’s hands and feet will be stained with reddish-brown dye. The intensity of the stain on her body will then be used to predict the future success of the marriage.

In London promoting her movie, Provoked.

Aishwarya Rai may not know what she is getting herself into. Her fiancee’s father, Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan reportedly performed Hindu voodoo ceremonies to rid the evil Aishwarya Rai of a curse. Photo below.

Why she would marry this primitive idiot is beyond me, but nevertheless the marriage is expected on April 18th.
